MFI Peruvian Panasche is her sire and his award winning staple and deep crimp style are apparent through-out her fleece.

“PP” is a herd favorite and a very dependable producer with excellent mothering ability. Her 2003 cria was an incredible 85 lbs. at 120 days and her next three had equally impressive gain rates and as adults totally dwarf their dam.

Her fleece still has a very soft hand with brightness that rivals many Suri’s. At 16 years and 11 cria, her OFDA Histogram was remarkably 26 micron and her average yearly fiber profile was literally flat across the entire year. What more could a breeder ask for in a 16 year old female - Thank you Panda!

This girl is great example of improvements that can result when you combine excellent nutrition with coverage by superior males over what appears on the outside to be a primitive style alpaca.

She has found her permanent home here at Dougherty Creek and is now busy enjoying her retirement in green pastures with her long time herd friend Miss Tiara.

Panasche is an impressive addition to the Dougherty Creek herdsire lineup.

Tested using skin biopsy at 37 months old - evaluated by Dr. Jim Watts, "The alpaca has high levels of fiber density" Outstanding not only because it stands high above the national average but also for a dark alpaca!

Panasche's fleece character of deeply crimped and small tightly bundled locks is amazing. The quality of this fleece should not be under estimated - it is rare to see a dark alpaca with his kind of character - it truely borders elite.
