Dougherty Creek's PacaSandra

Birthdate: 6/5/2004
Heritage:
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 1219906
Color: Pattern
Stud Name: Ferrari’s Excel

Type: Female Huacaya
Status: Bred / Proven

Description: PacaSandra is one of the most steady and reliable members of our herd. Her mothering qualities (birthing ease, cria vigor, milking ability, weaning weights) stand at the top of any of the females we have ever owned.

She is very dense with bold crimped fleece, heavy bone, full coverage and that famous JSFI Dakota typey head.

Her color maybe an attention grabber but when bred to solid or multi colored males she has thrown 3 of 4 solid colored crias and all with excellent fleece character.

We were anxious to see what Panasche's elite fleece type would do for her already respectable fleece character and impressive clip weight. It was an outstanding match. DCF Veronica is an exceptionally vibrant female and her fleece shows excellent density along with impressive crimp and character.

Sandra is currently bred to Ferrari's Excel, which we are certain will produce another advanced fleece. And as an extra bonus - she sells with a breed back to any DCF Herdsire in 2011! (hint - Vincent will be ready in 2011)

“PP” is a herd favorite and a very dependable producer with excellent mothering ability.

Her fleece still has a very soft hand with brightness that rivals many Suri’s. After 16 years and 11 cria, her 2006 OFDA Histogram was remarkably 26 micron and her average yearly fiber profile was literally flat across the entire year. What more could a breeder ask for in a 16 year old female - Thank you Panda!

This girl is great example of improvements that can result when you combine excellent nutrition with coverage by superior males over what appears on the outside to be a primitive style alpaca.

She has found her permanent home here at Dougherty Creek and is busy just enjoying her retirement in green pastures with her long time herd friend Miss Tiara.

The son of Magical Farms PPeruvian Emilio, Dakota passes on his strong bone and fleece characteristics to his offspring, while typically allowing the dam's underlying color to be expressed.

We have selected him for our breeding program for his extreme density and deep bold crimp characteristics. Along with his very typy head to toe coverage we have not over-looked his heavy bone and muscle structure.

All of the cria born on our farm show his heavy coverage and deep amplitude crimp through out their blanket, neck and legs.
