DCF Jumpin' Jack Frost

Birthdate: 5/5/2010
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 31823616
Color: White

Type: Male Huacaya
Status: Proven

Description: When a male comes along whose EPD predicts he will reduce fibers >30mc by over 5 micron – heads should turn!

Jack is one such male and we have our eyes laser-focused on him as the next male in line to pair with our Vincent females.

His 2012 EPD data is easily some of the best in the Midwest region:

AFD -1.063
%F>30 -5.3
MC 2.745
%M 0.599
ACS Biopsy @ 18 months
61.0 / mm2
AFD-P 21.7 / SD 4.17
AFD-S 14.2 / SD 2.0

His fleece is elite and combined with superior biopsy data and excellent EPD data it predicts the majority of Jack's crias will produce commercial-grade, high-value fleece.

If that is the goal of your breeding plan, the odds are in your favor that a pairing to Jack will produce this. Don't wait to bring these traits into your herd.

He is also available for short term leases at a surprisingly reasonable rate to cover larger numbers of your herd. Just give us a call.

Emaline is a JSFI Dakota daughter and full sister to DCF Diamond Duke.

Like Duke, her density and uniformity are phenomenal but it gets even better - Emaline's ultimate strength is her super-fineness. Her confirmation is also excellent with heavy bone and a stout true-to-type frame. We look for her milking ability to equal her dam at approximately a pound / day cria gain rate. This female may well have it all!

Excel caught our eye at the 2007 AOBA Summer National show. When we felt the “butter soft” hand of his fleece we immediately realized this male was special - in fact we had never felt anything like it.

Excel’s quality is undeniable and his skin biopsy at 18 months verified what we saw and felt. A high number of densely packed follicles in his skin, combined with exceptional uniformity in both Primary and Secondary fibers - and between both fiber types - is why his fleece feels like butter.
