AKA - "Princess Mallory" - This female is truly something very special.

In 2004 she placed first at the AOBA Summer National Handcrafters Spin-off - in 2005 she placed 2nd - among some very heavy competition that included the most notorious genetics in the country. In 2003 she received a second place ribbon at the AOBA National Fleece show in the large light fawn juvenile class - again with competition from some of the biggest farms in the US.

Her crimp, luster and lock structure are the best on our farm - she really is the cream of the crop.

She was breed to MFI Peruvian Panasche for what proved to be a fleece type worthy of Color Champion at the MN Alpaca Expo (DCF Arturo). This pair has thrown another outstanding female - Dougherty Creek's Olivia - who is we believe is even finner than Arturo.

All of her cria - represent in spades, "Gen Next" at DCF.

With one of the best colored biopsy results Alpaca Consulting Services has seen in the US to date - Diamond Duke's data shows highly desirable numbers across the board.

To put these numbers in perspective, at 62.6 follicles mm2 Duke is about double the density or twice the number of follicles on his body as the average US alpaca. His fibres are growing about 20% faster than average and his primary fibres are about 12 microns finer than average.

He is currently in a category with few other males in this country - colored OR white. We will look to these “next generation males” to bring significantly improved uniformity and finer micron to their progeny allowing for the next big advancement in North American genetics.
