DCF's Eliza Jane

Birthdate: 6/14/2007
Registration: ARI Registered
ARI #: 30907690
Color: White
Stud Name: Ferrari’s Excel

Type: Female Huacaya
Status: Open / Proven

Description: Liza joins our foundation herd as a representative of the 3rd generation of the "Chloe" line we continue to develop.

Affectionately known as "That Girl", Liza has a bright white fleece with long staple and deep crimp. She is a perfect match for the micron and uniformity of Vincent or Jack's fleece.

Every year we can't wait to see the next generation fleeces to see if they meet or exceed our expectations and goals. We are expecting Liza and Excel’s offspring to shear a 20 micron fleece in the 8 lb. range in years 1-5 – stay tuned, we'll see!

AKA "Princess Mallory" - This female is truely something very special.

In 2004 she placed first at the AOBA Summer National Handcrafters Spin-off - in 2005 she placed 2nd - among some very heavy competition that included the most notorious genetics in the country. In 2003 she received a second place ribbon at the AOBA National Fleece show in the large light fawn juvenile class - again with competition from some of the biggest farms in the US.

Her crimp, luster and lock structure are the best on our farm - she really is the cream of the crop.

She is again breed to Alta’s Ultima of PVA for what proved to be a fleece type approaching elite. Her 2007 cria - DCF Eliza Jane - represents in spades, "Gen Next" at DCF.

In 2001, Ultima's fleece at 1 year was 17.5mc -- in 2006 (age 6) Ultima was the awarded the White Reserve Color Championship by Mike Safley at The Great Midwest Alpaca Festival. As Safley put it in his oral comments, {If there were more males like this in North America, we would have a true fleece industry}.

This remarkable achievement for a white male is a fitting testimony to the extreme holding capability of this Peruvian Hemingway son's fleece genetics -- but equally as important - and why Ultima is genetically predisposed to pass his outstanding fleece to his offspring - is his phenomenal dam, Alta.

Once glance into his pasture and he immediately sets him self apart with his commanding
